1.2 Bypass the swear filter or other filters.
1.3 Abuse or encourage abuse of the Reputation, Post Reporting, or Private Messaging Systems.
1.4 Post personally identifiable information (i.e. name, address, email, phone number, etc.)
1.5 Bump threads.
1.6 Derail a thread's topic.
1.7 Post links to phishing sites.
1.8 Spam (i.e. +1, 10char, rickrolls) or Re-post Closed, Deleted Content.

1.11 Advertise in posts, signatures etc. (No sales, ebay ads, etc. )
1.12 Avoid double posting by using the Edit button. (The forums are intended to promote discussion between people, not with yourself.)
1.13 Respect Staff members. If a staff member or moderator warns you or requests something of you formally, do it. If you have an issue with the moderator, contact Maddyn99.
1.14 Do not use foul language
2. The following topics are strictly off limits, including in external links:
2.1 Porn, gross stuff, or anything else not safe for work
2.2 Piracy, warez, Leaked content.
*Any* discussion of piracy will result in a permanent ban from the Maddyncraft Forums.
2.3 Cheating, hacking, game exploits
2.4 Threats of violence or harassment, even as a joke
2.5 Posting copyrighted material
2.6 Racism, discrimination
2.7 Religious, political, and other “prone to huge arguments” threads
3. No Backseat Moderating:
Let the Forum Moderators do the moderating. Backseat Moderating is when people who are not Moderators try to enforce the forum rules. Whenever you see a person breaking the rules, take advantage of the "Report" link. Or simply IGNORE the offensive post(s) or thread. The most common backseat reply is the "+1 in before lock" phrase. Backseat moderating is annoying, and pointless.
When a rule is broken, the user's warn level will increase, dependent on the severity of the violation. When an user receives 5 warning points he will see reduced privileges. Warn levels will decrease automatically.
Users who are found to be repeat offenders will be removed from the forums.
